New Mexico’s Cultural Agencies

Many departments and agencies within the New Mexico state government are of specific interest to Native people. In depth descriptions of these are provided here in the Native languages, along with addresses, contacts, and other relevant information.

Where possible, the labels for the languages conform to the Native language form and spelling. A legend appears at the bottom of this page with English equivalencies.

Information in the Native languages are presented in either audio files or in the written form. The audio files are in the MP3 format, and are playable in Windows Media Player and Mac’s iTunes.
